Federal officials in the United States searched two properties owned by hip-hop singer Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The Department of Homeland Security said on Monday that they searched the music mogul’s houses in Los Angeles and Miami.
The raid on Sean Diddy Combs’ residences in Florida and Los Angeles on Monday is the latest move in the rap mogul’s legal troubles.
According to the Associated Press, which cited law enforcement sources, the raids are associated with sex-trafficking allegations made by numerous litigants in recent months.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, previously known as Puff Daddy, is the founder of Bad Boy Records and a three-time wins the Grammy award. In recent months, he has been involved in various court disputes, including claims of sexual assault and trafficking.
Following the raids on Monday, videos circulated on TikTok saying Combs had been apprehended.
A video uploaded on Tiktok by user tasker8033, posted on March 25, 2024 and seen 30,700 times, was titled “P Diddy Arrested in NY By Several Federal Agencies, Including Homeland Security.”
But still, there is no confirmation as to what the actual matter was. Because there is still no clear footage, we can see that the security agency arrested Sean Diddy.
An attorney representing singer Cassie Ventura, who accused Combs of rape, physical abuse, and forcing her to engage in sex activities with other men before striking a settlement a day after filing her case, the following about the raids:
“We will always support law enforcement in its efforts to prosecute those who have broken the law,” Attorney Douglas Wigdor stated. “Hopefully, this is the beginning of a process that will hold Mr. Combs responsible for his depraved conduct.”
